Sorry Joseffy.... I have to agree them. In a place like the Santa Clara Valley where hundreds of thousands of homes burn fire places, something has to be done. It turns into a giant smoke-filled room -- worse than bars used to be in California.

When I lived there, there were times I couldn't go outside because I would feel like I was suffocating from the wood smoke, especially at holiday time.

Sunday, when I drove over Highway 17 from the coast to San Jose to my daughter's home, as I came down from the summit, and looked over the valley, there was a horrible layer of dirty smoke laying over it.

It's not only unpleasant, wood-burning particles are DANGEROUS to one's health.
