TI timeframe

From ti/westell strategic announcement:

"...The Westell DMT products are planned for customer availability in the first half of 1998.."

Suppose this could be interpretted as silicon sooner, and a quick trial or two before summer rollout, but... isn't the c6x late as it is? and just noticed the press release didn't say "TI based DMT product".

In any case, mid 98 isn't all that far off... difference of a couple of months is probably not significant one way or the other..

Also believe programming issues for fully functional c6x adsl, may make a difference between chip availability and c6x adsl functionality availability. Time will tell soon enough.
