Supernatural flock of birds mourn dead North Korean despot Kim Jong-Il

As if the synchronized weeping and lachrymose snowstorms weren't enough, North Korean state news is now reporting that divinely anointed flocks of magpies have been flocking to a monument of Kim Jong-Il's father, Kim Il-sung. On December 18, a few dozen magpies landed near a memorial statue in Unsan county and just would not leave.

The issue is not conservative vs. liberal anyway. The only two candidates who come close to conservatism (individual freedom from government, balanced budgets, nationalism) are Huntsman and perhaps Ron Paul. Modern faux conservatives give you unfunded wars and other lobbyist quid-pro-quo mandates like prescription drug prices, and take away personal choices, arguing that THEY should be free to abridge YOUR freedom.

Pure socialism is now a proven failure, and while some communists still exist at tables near Universities, 95% of modern liberals are pragmatic and reform-the-system + mixed-economy minded. They are currently focused on getting money out of politics, and maximize a marketplace to increase and better share the wealth to keep people spending and growing the economy. On a healthy, level playing field I might add. The best ROI takes into account all externalized costs and accounts for it in the market prices..

Yeah its been kind of fun. Especially when they lose and argument and go birther, and blow up their credibility. Brumar seems sincere so far, so I am enjoying his dialogue, I don't take it personally. I always regret when I am uncivil in a forum, so I try to engage without hyperbolic personal attack.

Aside from being dogmatic and rolling-over for Limbaugh, Rove and Beck, Republicans make good friends and neighbors. Sometimes liberals are jerks, if you don't share their individual passions like what to eat or their humor. Ask Steven Colbert about the people on the left he has pissed-off.
