Bill, As far as making claims goes........anyone can make claims and call people and politicians anything they want, (as you just demonstrated), but the fact is, the inside the beltway elites like Romeny because they make a lot of money off of govt (read tax payers) and they know Romney is right there with them and least likely to upset their world. His tax plan stinks and he's stuck on growth (which is, of course very important) but I expect my candidate to actually reform WDC and Romney hasn't said much if anything about that. His lack of a plan to stop the out of control spending is vague and what he has written is boiler plate and boring. And please don't get me wrong. I said a few weeks back I will support Mitt Romney if he's the nominee, but I didn't say I'd sit idly by and not support my own candidate. I am proud of my choice of candidate and have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. I have read almost every book he's written, I like Newt Gingrich and I greatly respect him as an Historian, and patriotic American. Afaic of all the candidates, he is the one I trust most to raze the hell hole called WDC and bring about changes that will restore our Republic, empower it's citizens and return this Nation to its rightful place upon this Earth. If you find that amusing than I'm happy for you.
