I am now living very near to the big smoke, but not actually in it. Fortunately I don't have to catch a train either. metro.co.uk I can fly back to Scotland for less then the taxi fare to the airport, which is why I take the bus. Buses are still reasonably priced. You can get a return ticket for under a tenner, good for a month.
