I have to be honest...this makes no sense to me...if I am traveling further than the electric range of my vehicle I probably won't want to spend however many hours it would take to recharge it along the route...I dont' get the utility of this.

fully charged in 30 minutes....so they can go 40 miles further....LOL.......go across Texas like that and you might as well be in a covered wagon.

No one will actually use those charging stations ... you think people are going to sit there while normal people drive by, pointing and laughing at them? Even Dante can see it's a dumb idea. They couldn't even listen to their incar radio or stereo while they wait.

Can you imagine kids in the back seat, saying 'Are we there yet?' while they sit waiting for their car to charge? Of course, people who buy EV's aren't breeders.

Maybe they could put Starbucks with Wifi at these charging stations someone would actually use the charging stations ... the EV drivers could pretend they're taking a break from the drive. All we need to do is come up with a subsidy program for Starbucks.
