And then add thousands to the nation's national debt at the same time, for little, if any, apparent benefit. Road trips, for thinking people, obviously require a 6.4L engine at 10mpg. It isn't like anyone would be stupid enough to do that in Prius or Volt. Natural gas is the future, at least for the next few generations. Clean, plentiful, cheap, and domestic. Unfortunately, we have a nitwit for president who has no energy policy.
