Your response would have greater effect if you reference the post whereby you declare to be "short golds @ 1850". Not sure what you mean exactly with. "" short 1850s golds" is that the miners ?, the ETFs? the jrs in general? or the POG itself? . Clarification of past action would also put your very clear and unequivocal call of 1100-900 POG today in to far better context as well.

ie one might assume you have been short, one of these categories all this time and waiting til at least 1100 before closing the position?

I did a quick search and could not find a reference to the short at 1850, which may be a failing of my search , so thought it best if you could find it.

I would never short gold. It would be bad voodoo for us since we have a tested placer deposit with 5 million cu mts grading out an average of 1.8 grams per ton with a cash cost of $18.30 per gram. It just would not seem right to bet against ourselves. LOL
