Aha, that explains it. < bang on if it weren't for Gartman > It was especially fun selling gold to TJ at the top and buying it back at the bottom. It was kind of him to fund my lifestyle. I do appreciate it. Perhaps he will offer more such opportunities in 2012.

<hopefully the new year will smile on your tech investments> Indeed, because those investments are intended to save the world and lead it to the next stage of evolution being extra-somatic sentience and from ungoverned randomized red in tooth and claw DNA development to selected DNA based on intelligence = boot-strapping into the future. Eugenics writ large. Women have been doing it for eons, but they are mostly flying blind, because nearly all DNA is not visible to them when they pick the best of a bad bunch, making do with their lucky dip, or unlucky for the most part.

Engineering has built the material world, has launched the Cyberspace realm, and now should turn attention to our DNA foundations. My investments are aimed to do that and have got wireless Cyberspace off the ground [literally in the case of Globalstar, albeit at a major financial loss so far, but that's worth it from a philanthropic investing point of view].

2012 is the Year of the Snapdragon. 100 million Chinese will buy one [give or take a few - that's not a double your money back sooth]
