Not all conservatives want ID taught in schools. Evolution doesn't prove how DNA was created. now back to science. I have 5 in law relatives who just got out of college all extreme liberals. They majored in French, History, english, 17th century art and psych. None of them took a science or math course in college, maybe some freshman year high school repeat one, but no higher level. They all believe in man made caused global warming with a passion. I have 4 relatives who just grad. all extreme conservatives. My niece is working on her PHD in Physics, my son working on his masters in CE, My nephew is in Med school and another who majored in biology. they all call Global warming a SCAM. I don't know of any liberal who's into the sciences. only conservatives

Actually molecular biology hasn't confirmed anything except for life being based on an information encoding system. That's why Francis Crick came up with a theory that life was seeded on earth by extraterrestials ... he knew there was no way it spontaneously generated.

You would think that reading information from qualified professionals would put everyone on the same page, wouldn't you? But if science disagrees with superstition, the superstitious simply spit on the science text. Take Dawkins, who wrote a delightful text for youngsters called "The Magic of Reality". Because he teaches and demonstrates proven scientific laws, principles, and facts...superstitious monkeys are going ballistic on the internet--cursing science and evolution as "atheist" lies! It really makes me proud to be an atheist, when I see the company I would otherwise be in... :-)
