*OT* ALL DLJDirect alert Warning to anyone using DLJDirect to obtain real-time NYSE quotes. Beginning today, DLJ will be 'charging' for every 'real-time' NYSE quote and all of their on-line quotes are now 20 minute delay for NYSE unless you agree to 'pay' for them out of your 'quote bank'. The reply to the question of 'why the change in policy?' was "Uh, well, we found that people were coming to our website and just obtaining quotes and not placing orders when they obtained a free quote.... so we decided that they were abusing the website and it would be a good source of revenue." DUH!
