I have done my own observation and interactions with primates, and don't know much about the women doing the observing of primates, though have read some about them. Does your hypothesis include those doing the filming of wild primates? < I hypothesize that all the information you have at your fingertips about primate behavior that informs you about human behavior was gathered by a female. An observant female, probably near middle age, probably quiet by nature, the kind of women men don't see. >

The aspect of females hopping the fence is shown in DNA studies of humans. Male DNA tends to be highly localized but maternal lines are spread over continents. I was interested to see my and our son's DNA [from www.23andMe.com which I highly recommend using]. My maternal line is like our son's - all over the map. But the male side is relatively concentrated, though extends in bits as far east as Calcutta.

Males fight and defend territory, dying in the process, so the y chromosome remains concentrated. Females go to other territories, so mitochondrial dna spreads everywhere. Women in China [already in short supply] will be hopping the fence any time they can, escaping the local males [who are in great surplus]. Life should be interesting. I wonder if the local men will try to hold women hostage. A new law banning single women from leaving China.

A common sight in NZ [and your family] is a Made in China lady with a local yokel bloke. Some of the relationships even look real, though plenty of them are obviously meal ticket escape rides.
