This quote is very meaningful for me, I had never seen it before, Mary found it on this New Year's eve.. For it answers a lot of questions for me, the main one being, why I am so different from so many on this human level, in my beliefs and values.. Because we all come from a different "Spiritual Land", not a different planet, like I used to say when I didn't understand.. Where I come from we believed in peace and tranquility for ALL, not just a few. A color-cultural blindness, if you will. To put it in a "layman's" language.. Hard to describe for me in this language... No pettiness, etc.. But after being "here" awhile, one adopts some of or a composite of the "others" superficial values like in cultural differences, social/political interaction, all types of education, recreation, sports, etc. I try to pick the most entertaining parts of those for me, music, sports and art.. It helps pass the time here and it makes it easier and more fun..... :) But ONE NEVER loses their core spiritual values and beliefs when they "come" here, which always trumps that other superficial stuff in their spiritual being and soul... So we take back to our "land" what we learned or didn't learn here.. What we do with it, our experiences, I mean, is what I don't know, Until I get back..
