Apparently you like non apples to apples comparisons - be my guest.

Interesting how you concentrate on housing, while ignoring all the huge quantities of facts and points in my other posts and have avoided virtually all of them - especially about the housing bubble and its massive effects during the periods in question, thereby making its use as a valid inflation rate comparison tool during the period questionable at best... let alone the hedonic and other effects that have been applied to the CPI housing and rent indexes (a simple comparison of the CS index against BLS ones will show how bogus, wrong and too low the BLS indexes are).

In other words, the subject is the CPI and its easily proven lies - not the CS index or excessive concentration on one housing index to the exclusion of all the other prices and facts.
