There is a huge difference in spirited civil debate, between attacking the debator vs. the class he is arguing for generally. You can attack moderates and liberals all you want and I won't think you are directing it at me as an individual. This is a fundamental of civility. otherwise, there would be no good debate where people can walk away and be friends. Your view of the world, them vs. us, right vs. wrong, is not mine. You'll just have to deal with the difference when things ARE personal.
