I agree. But the racism moniker has been earned over the years. dictionary.reference.com ...and FWIW, I don't believe that Elmat harbors any racial hatred. He is pretty clear on those issues.

There are plenty of negroes that are family oriented and don't run away. in my socioeconomic group that is certainly true.. most actually... OTOH so is elmat's scenario as one moves down that scale especially with blacks from the Caribbean .. we know lots of examples from school.. Then again my daughter has a black friend whose mom had kids from two men here and another living in Africa.. all kids are turning out very well.. Mom worked her but off.. owns a home, rented part out... the friend is headed for medical school.. OTOH daughter has a white friend from the same milieu. with white single mother, kids from multiple partners.. daughter's friend was pregnant and living with boyfriend before end of high school... The scenario of single mothers though in daughter's milieu is many more blacks in the situation... not so much with blacks whose parents are born here it seems... maybe even less so than with whites born here...
