Lesley Stahl had the Reagan clip in her pocket, with him addressing the nation, saying "Make no mistake about it. This whole package is a compromise."

She let the clip do the talking.

Thanks for the pointer, Ted. I missed it last night. And his wife is a liberal-turned-R who is pro-choice and supports gay marriage.

One can't help but wonder what the likes of Cantor believe in private.

Some day we'll know but in the meanwhile we can't let them win.
