rule of 72 says 9 years ... but I won't quibble ... it's a approximation :O) XOM also pays you a 2.2% yield.. so it may be a good idea eh ?

i think it is best to wager on china by betting w/ gold, that which is a china play that hedges against all other china plays, incl oil and xom i think that should china be even 1/2 successful in shift growth from a coastal urban dynamic to a inland rural fact, 8% would be conservative, and would make the last 30 years a mere warm-up exercise the consequences of failure would be great the effect of success would be ohwhoaweegeewhizbang either way, gold wins big
