Yes, he applied to a bunch of schools up and down the east coast. The deadline was 12/31 for most of them, so he is all done except for the interviews which start now (the various schools, on their own, call to request them). No matter what source you read, everyone says it's a crap shoot where you get it. We won't know what the choices are until 4/1. He chose not to apply early decision as he really doesn't have a favorite.
