The article gives a basic view of the process in Iowa. This year there is a 'large' number of Republican candidates. This makes it both interesting and exciting as you participate in the process of determining who will be your party's nominee.

If you have never participated in your state's process for choosing a Republican or Democrat Party candidate to go to the National Convention to make the final determination it is an adventure. At each level from the precinct to the National there are rules for qualifying to be a part of the given meeting.

There are deadlines for every level of participation that must be met.
