Capabilities as "wealth" are meaningless

Me thinks almost everyone here would say capability is everything...the action is everything, if you die in the process of actioning your capability though it may be unfortunate, the explicit truth is you died doing what you love, because your capability is the extrapolation of your love which finds its utility in your doing.

You said two different things. I stand by my statement. Without the action, capabilities as "wealth" are meaningless. If Frank is capable of telling a great story, but doesn't do it, what meaning does it have in a discussion about wealth?

There are many individuals who have some sort of professional capabilities who choose to live off of welfare. Do their capabilities get counted as wealth?

I know quite a few people who come up with great ideas for products that never come to fruition. They don't understand that having great ideas is the easy part. That wealth is made by actually doing the work and creating something that you can sell (or exchange).
