Richard,
I'm hardly a mining maven, so let me get this straight. You're saying that becuase they are only going to initially have five holes that are dispersed throughout this wide playa, people might think that the results were caused by a meteor or just lucky plotting? If they get great results on the first hole, do I chalk that up to some ancesteral
cousin of comet Kahoutek(sp?)? I would agree that 1-5 holes does not a mine make. I would also agree that it makes no case whatsoever towards homogeneity. I would think that it does start to give you some idea of what's out there. I wold also think it gives you some idea of the consistency and ability of the Johnson method relative to other methods that have been tried.
I don't think that 1-5 holes gives youthe complete and final picture. It may however make the outline become a little more clear. Also, if these numbers are released and if they are good, it will make it unequivocally impossible for the shorts to scream fraud. It will take much of their(but not all)ammo away. IMO
