I do think that the writer is twisting the concept, by justifying Cameron stance. The main issue Cameron was opposed to anything similar to the Tobin tax and harsher regulation over the CITI in London by Brussels, The FSA is nothing more than a "fig leaf" of the UK Government on financial crimes and in great part is responsible for the present state of affairs in the world. The UK FSA is an embarrassment to justice and way more corrupt than their US counterparts.
