Ron Paul Endorsed by George Soros “Blue Republican” Organization

January 3, 2012
theulstermanreport.com

When somebody as integral to the progressive movement in America as Ralph Nader embraces the Ron Paul campaign, conservatives would do well to pause…

Libertarians like Ron Paul are on our side on civil liberties. They’re on our side against the military-industrial complex. They’re on our side against Wall Street. They’re on our side for investor rights. That’s a foundational convergence,” he exhorts. It’s not just itty-bitty stuff.

That quote came recently from former Green Party presidential candidate and longtime progressive Ralph Nader. Both Nader and Congressman Ron Paul have spent time together, and it appears the relationship between the two men has grown stronger in recent months. How a self-described libertarian and a man who has spent his life calling for increased government regulation on almost all facets of public life seem now inextricably linked makes for quite a unique and seemingly stark political contradiction. Nader has come out PUBLICLY SUPPORTING the Ron Paul candidacy – though stopping just short of an all out endorsement.

Further exploration into the odd pairing also uncovers what is called the Blue Republican movement – an organization that advertised heavily on the Huffington Post in recent months and calls for Democrats to support Ron Paul – declaring in part that Congressman Paul is actually a friend to the progressive cause and calling for Democrats to register as Republicans for just one year:

We are former non-Republicans who are joining the Republican party for one year to help Ron Paul win the GOP nomination for President in 2012.

Such a registration drive would certainly create quite a bit of potential chaos within the GOP primary races as hordes of lifelong Democrats attempt to drive up Paul’s polling numbers for a short term gaming of the political outcome. The term Blue Republican was coined by leftist Robin Koerner, who runs an organization called WatchingAmerica.com. The current cover story on the front page of that website is an article detailing how Barack Obama’s victory in 2012 is essential to saving the “American model” and draws heavily from a George Soros-sponsored Center for American Progress study as proof. A WatchingAmerica linked article SAID THE FOLLOWING regarding Mr. Soros:

Advertisers on the website include MSNBC and the Al Waref Institute – a pro-Muslim anti-Israel think tank based in Washington D.C. whose founder, Marah Bukai takes meetings with such figures as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

It seems interesting then that an organization that appears quite hopeful to see Barack Obama re-elected in 2012, and is clearly linked to progressive anti-American globalist George Soros is simultaneously calling for Democrats to register as Republicans and support Ron Paul in the Republican primaries does it not?
