Brand names, either new, or old in one case my Doc doesn't want generics used for this one (doesn't want the hormones to be screwed up by taking a generic Synthroid

I had not previously heard of a doctor making the case that a generic drug would have any discernible difference in the body than the brand name.

Anyone else ever have this experience?
