Use both Google and Bing and other major search engines to find info on the battles they were in, etc....I've really found lots that way for both the Rev War and the Civil War battles my guys were in....

Technology today makes info so accessible!

Edit....Hummm...that's a grub....

up to me to write something like a diary......

When living up north I bought my Ma a tape recorder to correspond. She used it to record hours and hours on conversation with her Ma, an illiterate peasant that had walked four brats out of the Ukraine. Some pretty amazing stories there.

Anyway, the intent was to transcribe and leave a written record. Time passed, my Ma went cold, and all has been lost.
