I have already said QCOM should be the first $1 trillion market cap company ever. We need leadership with ambition like that. While my technical expertise* is not quite as good as some of the Qualcomm employees including Paul Jacobs', I haven't heard any of them set such a goal. I would accept the job for $1 a year and no stock options which would immediately save the company loads of money. I would appoint Sanjay Jha and Andrew Gilbert to run it and I'd use a Ouija board to check with Steve Jobs to make sure I wasn't going too far wrong. Incidentally, I have never noticed before that Oui and Ja mean yes, yes, in french and german. So Steve and I would have yes-men running the show. Maybe we would have a special Qualcomm designed board of directors, a OuiJha board and Andrew could ride shotgun to make sure it's all On Plan. Sanjay could focus on the semiconductor and DeVices side of the business, while Andrew gets the car division and mirasol up to speed. We also need a really good Cyberspace department - vast opportunities have been missed. Eudora could have been expanded to be Google, Facebook, Twitter, PayPal and a lot more besides. But there is still time to be the biggest thing in Cyberspace and I have a plan for something even bigger than all of those combined x 10. Actually, it's more like x 100. We would offer to buy Globalstar too and get that back On Plan. It has lost momentum lately, though the launches are proceeding okay with much of the new constellation now in orbit.
