The key is saving the Republic from the all consuming state.

The key is that Obama loses.

Paul, I couldn't agree with you more....

I seem to detect on this thread a microcosm of the political diatribe going on within the Republican Party. I have to admit that I am “mild about Mitt” but if he is the nominee, I fully intend to support him. I do give him a degree of a break for some of his past governance since he was elected governor of the one of the bluest of the blue states. Let’s not forget that Reagan once was a Democrat and supposedly avid supporter of FDR. He supposedly changed his philosophy as he toured the country for GE and began to understand the implications of the welfare state agenda. Back in 1980 many pundits dubbed RR as “unelectable” and it turned into a landslide.

How Mitt might govern probably has a lot of dependence on the make-up of Congress which is why it is imperative to take the Senate and solidify gains in the House. Beyond that, it would seem best if we trust the process and support the eventual nominee to make BO a one term president. Certainly, there are many brands of conservatism and hopefully we all share a bond that is a lot more important than lashing out.

Or if I may quote LBJ on J. Edgar Hoover “Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in”
