Honeycomb went from 3.3% of the Android installed base in Dec to 3.4% in January (total footprint of 8.9 million, a monthly increase of 900K). Some loss in the Honeycomb numbers can be attributed to upgrades to the open sourced 4.0.3, which increased from 0.3% to 0.7% in January. Meanwhile the Galaxy Nexus-specific versions of ICS stayed flat at 0.3% (implying worldwide January sales of 65K and cumulative sales of 786K). All calculations assume a worldwide installed base of 262M Android phones as of January end (an increase of 22 million sequentially, or 700k/d).
