No, for me, downloading a movie(30 seconds) takes approximately 15 seconds, but that's because I'm on a T1/LAN. However, ISPs are about to become obsolete. I have seen a company that deals in a new technology that has a 400 mb/sec transfer rate, and it shocks me. And the beautiful thing is, it's all done with dishes.

The internet is going to become a cheap advertising alternative to TV, and it's going to rival it and eventually surpass it. AT&T and fiber optics, IMO, is a narrow-minded way of looking at the internet. WebTV was the first look at what I'm trying to say. Broadband is a bit closer, but a little slower. The end result will be dishes and broadband.

Imagine a world in where TV, phone and the internet is combined. I predicted that TV, phone and internet would combine three years ago, and so far, companies like MediaOne have popped up and started to do so. Advertising on the net is so much cheaper than advertising on TV. People will start tuning into websites like www.superbowl.com to watch the Super Bowl as opposed to watching it on FOX.

Advertising on the net will move closer towards television advertising, and eventually combine. What we need right now is a dynamic company; one that will be willing to move with the times in the advertising field on the net. These guys are the most willing and able I have ever seen.
