The response to that post is most interesting. Enough of this silliness.

The Augmented Reality SDK has been out for a while now. I assume it would be best used in games and advertising. It's use to localize signage within widely broadcasted events and the placement of line markers on televised football games has value. Other than those kinds of applications, it all seems rather far fetched to me. Does anyone else see it that way or have come across any practical phone applications built with the technology?

Here's a video presentation covering practical applications. I guess it isn't necessarily a phone application but the ability get it anywhere and in any manner that attracts Qualcomm.
