Einstein was a true genius who's thinking lead to countless breakthroughs in science. Krugman is an economic necromancer in a line of study where there is as much art to it as science. Although, I have a healthy respect and love of economics myself, you simply can't compare Krugman to Einstein. Krugman is simply big on Keynesianism. Keynesianism, at least the way it is implemented by Krugman and this administration is a failure. If Keynes were alive, he would be arguing vociferously against what they are doing. Keynes actually believed in drawing from SURPLUSES to smooth out the downturns. We have no surpluses to draw from. So all we are doing is borrowing from future growth through debt in order to create massive malinvestment today. Today's economic policies are destroying the goose that lays the golden eggs.

At the end of the day, even Keynes didn't believe in a free lunch. But somehow Americans of today have been bred to believe that easy street is as simple as cranking up the money printing machine and that there are no consequences that we need worry about.

Sorry, but I refuse to live in Fantasy Land. So that makes me an oddball out nowadays.
