True - for me he represents a whole lot more of my views than dumbo does. The R party needs to remain a big tent - not a bunch of ideologues.

In rereading my post I realized it might have sounded like a poke at you for dreaming on. Actually meant I was dreaming on myself about a white knight at the convention.

Like you, Romney is not my preferred candidate. But at this juncture I'm afraid he is pretty much a lock.

Ironic in a way, that conservatives in 2012 may be "hoping" for "change".
