Front lighting channels may also affect viewing angles which is another previously unreported issue. Changing the angles of these structures to reflect more light and interfere less with viewing angles might be enough of a tweek. At least Clarence now has a new crew working on the matter.

I doubt that very much. The screen is reflective so the artificial light will be swamped by daylight.
