The opinions I expressed regarding Corel should tell you that I am fully aware of Corel's woes. Apparently you have decided to buy into their story that Sun was somehow to blame verus an incompetent design and development team at Corel. They have never developed anything outside of a set of procedural graphics processing library, circa 1980, which they have developed into a pretty good product over the intervening decade. AFA Java applications, why don't you read PC Week for the daily barrage of developments from IBM, Computer Associates, Netscape and others. Frankly, you don't have a clue on this one. Sadly, your view that a full-featured office suite, such as that coming from Lotus Development Corp next quarter, should have been available the second week after Java was introduced, is all too common. There are those who are on the cutting edge of hype and then there are those who think they are being clever when they have the stale, year-old view being expressed by naysayers about this technology, and then there are those who are on top of what's really happening with it. For crying out loud, you have to have your head in the sand and a stick up your butt not to sense the monumental changes underfoot here.
