It's pure madness, GZ. I cannot tell you of how many stories I have read over the past decade of people who literally would rather die (and did die!) than be called a racist.

Now, I am certainly not saying that because Kodak was gay-friendly, the company failed. What I am saying is that these companies that place their primary emphasis on multiculturalism and on projecting themselves as a diverse company simply don't have their heads in the business game.

I submit that the most successful companies typically focus on hiring the best people and making the best products. Companies that fail focus on hiring the most minorities and winning the most diversity awards. Kodak was so proud of the fact that they were ranked #1 by a gay group, as well as their other minority hiring practices. Now they're in the dust bin of history where they belong. It's perfect poetic justice! I consider their bankruptcy a good news item! -g-
