Today a major Japanese bank petitioned the government for bankruptcy relief. That makes the second major bank to go under.

President of Korea makes an address to the nation tonight concerning IMF relief needed to pay 20 billion plus in short term debt. Rumor has it that Japanese banks have refused to roll over their positions.

As Andy say, only the paranoid survive.

Intel opened by market makers 1 point above the close and is now about 1 point below the close.
