I am thinking of the obvious scripture which may well explain this. ( Obviously people who lived BEFORE Jesus walked on earth could not be expected to BELIEVE in Jesus. Of course we are in accord.) I'm just thinking of His own words: Before me you had no sin. Now you see me and know your sin. (my paraphrase, too tired to look it up) Also, as He walked on earth, why would He say "other sheep I HAVE (not "will have" or "you and I will go get") that are not of this fold." As always, please correct error. I love the God of mercy, love, joy, peace, happiness and goodness. Such a one certainly could not expect the impossible--could He? Perhaps in Greek it is more clear than English, as always.
