Dave: I also noticed "the new equity issue" language. My guess is that there will be new stock (or at least a rearragning of present interests) after the company comes out of bankruptcy: it will be part of the reorganization. I imagine that existing shareholders will get less than they currently hold both in real terms and in percentage terms, the debenture holders will convert their bedt to stock (and maybe some cash) for a greater percentage than would result with current stock, and there may even be new money for some stock...

While the assets may have been sold, SOLV has not yet filed a final reorganization plan, which may yet contain some surprises for shareholders that think everything is over.

As I recall, in the Continental bankruptcies, the existing shareholders got very little of the reorganized companies...the same may be true here. Hope not for ya'll's sake, but there is still substantial risk, IMO...remember the "significant dilution" talk from a while back?

BTW, any answers to the "ex President" part of JR?

A Good weekend to All...
