Mr Guru,

Re: "And you've been doing a "great job" as moderator. The volume and quality of traffic here, under your watchful eye, is "unparalleled." "Congratulations."

The "volume" of the traffic is more likely the result of AMD "BSDoozer" doing so poorly. If "BSDoozer" had been a success,
more of the "faithful" would be "cheerleading". The results of "BSDoozer" are so bad that even the "faithful" cannot defend them.

I assume from your post that you prefer the "previous moderator's" techniques of banning those that post material "counter"
to the AMD dogma, am I correct??!!

Mahmoud

There isn't much to talk about because, in case you hadn't noticed, AMD is no longer a factor in the CPU wars. The legal tangles are all but finished but I noticed you haven't commented on what appears to be a monumental screwup by the NY AG in allowing his shakedown, or if you prefer to call it a case against Intel, to flounder because of apparent procedural errors. I guess it doesn't really matter much because, much like the SEC, he's probably accepted the fact he has no case and is seeking a convenient way to slink away without to many people noticing. Let's hope he finds peace...

Did you notice that Cray had a bad quarter because AMD couldn't deliver product? That's odd for a product promised to ship in 2009. Why would that be? I mean, if Intel isn't bribing Cray then there isn't any problem with AMD delivering sufficient product. There really isn't anything to stop things, other than Intel's dirty deeds. All AMD needs is a chance to show what they can do, right? I mean this isn't rocket science. Once you have a RTL model and a foundry picked out then they come spilling out the other end, just like jelly beans, right? Of all people I guess you would know...
