Global warming is an environmental myth designed to make all carbon based energy so expensive that renewable energy is equated in cost. The imposed penalty on carbon energy is a source of huge revenue,which of course will best be manipulated by the liberal elitist progressive groups who are just more intelligent than the masses who pay the penalty/tax. These schemes ride on the brainwashed masses that attend our public schools and universities. They are well intended misinformed people. Where this grand scheme fails is that the artificially imposed cost of energy makes all manufacturing noncompetitive with in our borders. We as a country will not prevail in employing our labor force until we have a long reaching plan to ensure competitiveness. The utilization of our abundant carbon based energy resources is one of the great equalizers our country MUST IMPLEMENT. With an almost crippling amount of HR issues - most of which make our labor costs high relative to other labor pools - we need to have an advantage -just to get us even on a level playing field. If the younger generation wants to enjoy the lifestyle we currently have - it is time they get a grip on being competitive within this global world. Some of these well intended beliefs need to be displaced with colder world realities. Wealth can not be shared until it is created. No one will give you wealth - those who create it intend to retain it. The Occupy Wall Street bunch are the first who need to drink this reality elixir. The US needs to have almost a Marshall plan or CCC works to build energy infrastructure that ensures a continuous source of cheap energy. In combination with the infrastructure - every and all sources of energy need to be open for development (in a environmentally responsible fashion). This must be balanced by cheapest sources first and then prioritised by which can give us immediate benefits the fastest. Then MAYBE we as a country can begin to crawl out of the hole of debt we've dug ourselves into. JMHO I'm off the soap box. Bob
