(Story I heard the other day, maybe you can check it out, was that Romney's Grandfather was a notorious bigamist in Utah... and that when bigamy was made against the law he renounced the U.S. and fled with his various wives to MEXICO... where they lived for a while until --- unlucky him --- the Mexican Revolution came along and they thought it best to flee back to the U.S.) So, if it hadn't been for the Mexican Revolution coming along Romney either wouldn't have been born or else would have been a Mexican. :-) (Word I heard was that the other GOP candidates are well aware of these things and that one of them, Sanctorum, thought of a clever way to 'gig' Romney by making a speech where he commented that his, [Sanctorum's], Italian grandparents were 'immigrants' the same as Romney's. <g>)
