The record shows (read your mail!) that it was 10.5 (in 1960) to 12.3 (in 2000).

If this is not clear enough for you I will explain that the US is not unique in this regard. Obesity and diabetes does not require "blacks"! It grows in poverty and poor (industrialized/sugar) diets and no gym membership or reason to walk outside where you're drinking your sherry or brandy. It is like that in all countries. It ain't primarily the color of the skin, fella!!
