WOOT!

Good news for red wine lovers who are women (and the people who love those red wine drinkers):

A little red wine may be protective in terms of breast cancer. Now isn't that special?

I found many years ago a perfect treatement for occassional IBD, for me anyway. I have been taking Metamucil morning and night for many years followed with a cup of green tea (in morning) with three tea bags. Metamucil keeps one regular (and sooths the intestines as it is a soft fiber-good for taking pills with also) and green tea is a powerful anti infammatory.

Metamucil also lowers blood cholesterol (as bile sequestrant); and green tea reduces pain better than aspiran and greatly slows arthritis. A study of 26,000 Japanese women who drank 7 cups of greeen tea had an 85% reduction in heart attacks.

A glass of Metamucil followed by a cup of green tea with three tea bags is a good way to start the day.

<<Based on the 10 years my doctors were throwing pills at me for IBD I wonder if much of this "epidemic" isn't a result of people eating the wrong foods. There's zero money to be had researching that, sadly, but considering my medical history- I feel really sorry for the folks who are taking the meds their doctors are tossing them, without knowing the real cause of their illness:
