In Mid Illinois we average 7" during December. Last month we had .6" that was gone in two days. Same month the year before we had 20"+ that lasted to the end of March.

I remember going to Taos in January '88. No snow meant business was off by 90%.

and no snow in this area - nice through Sunday - mid to high 40's thru Wed... showers on Wed... otherwise nice.
And... it can stay that way as far as I am concerned. :)
