Eakole, I sometimes use IQ Net for my candlesticks, but when that doesn't work out, I switch over to Bigcharts, found at the following URL:

bigcharts.com

And then there's also INVESTools, where you can get a chart that allows you to change timeframes and other simple parameters quite liberally, which is kind of nice. It doesn't have the TA that you'd get with IQ Net; for the best TA site I like Bigcharts. I did a lot of self-learning from playing around with the numerous indicators at my disposal at this site--it's the next best thing to actually owning your own charting software. By the way, INVESTools' URL is:

investools.com

Then there's a couple Java-based applications that will allow you to fudge around with the TA characteristics(but I've noticed the number of stocks within the database are limited only to the larger cap companies). They are Alphachart and MetaStock:

alphachart.com

equis.com

I hope one of these will be able to meet your needs.

Regards,

Rainier
