Say, I see you too are unemployed these days! I don't follow this threat much any more, but it is still very informative! I am job interviewing now because trading by itself is just too stressful (a friend just died of a heart attack). Wife says "invest, don't trade!" DATM, LGTY (recommendations due soon?) are among my plays for the rest of the year.

AV--GEE WHIZ, I am beginning to feel like StevieBoi. AMAT is almost up $1 from the last buy in and it has traded close to 20M shares already. I feel lucky today. I put the call into to sell the 400 free shares at 38.5, good for the day. If it hits the price I will take those profits ($800 on the 400 shares) and buy a little present for me, another 17" monitor so I don't have to share with the laptop. IF there is anything left over, a bigger hard drive for the system now that they have been severely discounted.<GGG> Andrew

I concur (little big word) she will continue on her upward journey..a true no brainer. AMAT picture-perfect resistence at $40. quote.yahoo.com I gotta hand it to the AMAT chart...it's a thang of beauty! A four-year-old could have predicted resistence at that price based on it's chart. sure 'nough, it's backed down from there like a submissive little kitten. I'm looking for it to back down to near $30 again before it tries the almighty resistence of $40 next time. If that's what it does, we'll have a nice triple bottom reversal in the offing. Such a nice pattern to escalate from. au reviour.
