I disagree because I think the majority of people have a basic sense of fairness. Voting that blue eyed people would pay more in taxes would not be considered fair in most people's eyes and therefore wouldn't pass. All in my opinion of course. I still have faith in the basic humanity of people.

I pay the county to pick up my trash, but they don't . So I have to all pay a private company to pick up my trash.

They had a vote on it. the Pols ask the 90% who got county trash pick up if they should tax the people who don't get county trash pick up. The pols said it would lower their trash charges (it didn't they lied)

the vote was 90-10, I now pay for a service I can't/don't get
