But Bain Capital, he said, did not fit the model of responsible corporate citizenship. “If this is free enterprise, then conservatives should have nothing to do with it,” he said. “It is predatory paper-shuffling."

That is a pretty good term for a lot of what has gone on over the past 10 years especially--"predatory paper-shuffling."

Revive Glass-Steagall!

>>PAC Ads to Attack Romney as Predatory Capitalist<<

Romney is extremely vulnerable on this front. A brokered convention begins to look less like a fantasy.

I can hardly wait.

Romney Likes ‘Being Able to Fire People’

NASHUA, N.H. — Mitt Romney, already under intense scrutiny for his leadership at venture capital group Bain, inadvertently gave his rivals new material today when he stated that he likes “being able to fire people.”

The remarks came during a speech to the Nashua Chamber of Commerce this morning in which he was trying to explain that he would like people to have the option to pick and choose their medical insurance and get rid of plans that don’t meet their needs.

“I want individuals to have their own insurance. That means the insurance company will have an incentive to keep you healthy. It also means if you don’t like what they do, you can fire them. I like being able to fire people who provide services to me,” he said. “You know, if someone doesn’t give me a good service that I need, I want to say I’m going to go get someone else to provide that service to me.”
