FWIW: Sold Feb SD $8 puts for $.45. Cash secured - no margin - take assignment a $8 happily. In my opinion that is an incredible return on cash for 6 weeks (BWDIK). see SD as simply a call option on crude oil - especially now that the funding for drilling has been obtained. Still looking for MHR $5s - but that is not looking likely. I got too greedy there. CC - you beat me on that one.

I wrote Jan80 covered calls on my 2K IOC shares today.

$800 for 9 days wait.
Can't see IOC jumping 38% by next Friday and even if they do I'd be thrilled with an $80 price.

Think I'll let my Jan45 puts expire...
